Nicolas began his career as Art Director in the main design department of  L’Oréal, where his creations of packaging and displays are still a work of reference. Nicolas chooses after a few years, to go freelance, creating his own company in 1991 specialising in furniture and lighting.

He rapidly received recognition for the aesthetic and pure lines of his work, appreciated in terms of practical use and for their cutting edge in design.

In addition to his design work, Nicolas Gaudin, lends his creative touch to interior design of apartments, private residences and promotional booth. 

In the events area, his creativity, both in terms of decor and ambiance have been quite remarkable.

The Irish Manor at l’Art du Jardin in Parc de St Cloud, the Irish Cottage created a year later for the same event, and the James Joyce Garden at the Irish Cultural Centre in Paris are all memorable success. 

Lights, environment, decor, fine furniture, and alternative use of objects … are the integral themes of Nicolas’ design.
